Leazer Brother's Drilling & Pump Company is a company that has been in the well drilling business and pump installation and repair business since 1919. While no photos are available from that far back, the earliest photo taken, see inset, was taken at a job site near Remington Virginia around 1940 or so. As you can see by the picture, the equipment used back in the 1940's is a far cry from the modern equipment that is used today in the well drilling industry. However, the objectives remain the same both then and now and that is finding clear, clean water for our customers in the least amount of time possible, without sacrificing the quality of work that is being done, and then getting the water to the house. While no one can guarantee the quality or quantity of water that will be encountered, Leazer Brothers does guarantee that every effort will be made to ensure that the quality or quantity of water encountered is not adversely effected by the drilling procedures utilized in our search for water on your property. Groundwater is our most precious commodity on the planet and every effort should be made to maintain the quality of this natural resource for the generations to come. We have come a long way in regards to the equipment being used but the basics have remained the same since H.L. Leazer, then President of Leazer Pump & Well company drilled his first well back in 1919. His expertise and work ethics were passed down to his son, Edward L. "Doug" Leazer, who in turn, passed his legacy down to his sons, Chip, Bob, & Doug Jr. Today, the 3 sons of Doug Leazer continue to provide the same professional, courteous service that has been provided for over 93 years and counting. Today, many of our customers are the grandchildren and even great grandchildren of customers that Mr. H.L. Leazer drilled for in the beginning. We feel that if we drill every well as if it were being drilled for ourselves, there will be very few problems encountered with "dissatisfied" customers. However, occasionally, if that should happen, Leazer Brothers has made a commitment to all of our customers that our commitment to you, the customer, does not stop once your check has been received.
